Post-migration: WBP Omni SEO Pro is the SEO owner and the homepage checklist reads 100% — primary keyword, SEO title, meta description, content, schema and indexable all green.
- The Migration Hub scanned 38,729 posts + 471 terms + 420 users in under 30 seconds, with a full JSON backup written before the first write.
- Pre- and post-migration schema output was byte-identical under two independent validators — AudioObject, 5× VideoObject, Person and Blog all preserved.
- Rank Math + Rank Math Pro cleanly deactivated via WordPress' own deactivate_plugins() but kept installed for 30 days as a one-click rollback path.
- Homepage stayed HTTP 200 throughout, and the post-migration checklist read 100% across title, description, content, schema and indexable.
Before vs After
- • SEO title 63 chars — over 60-char pixel limit
- • Meta description 251 chars — over 160-char limit

The site under migration
usmanjatoi.com is the founder's personal brand site — a full Elementor + WordPress build with a rich schema footprint (Person, Blog, VideoObject, AudioObject) and thousands of pages accumulated over years of publishing. Before the migration it was fully wired to Rank Math and Rank Math Pro, with per-page SEO titles, meta descriptions, focus keywords, custom schema, Open Graph tags and internal-link markup.

Before — everything Rank Math owned
Every SEO signal on the site was coming out of Rank Math and Rank Math Pro. The homepage snippet editor showed a 63-character SEO title (over Rank Math's own 60-char pixel limit) and a 251-character meta description (over 160). Focus keywords, canonical, robots, Open Graph and Twitter cards all lived in the Rank Math meta box.

Live schema before cutover
An external crawler (SEO Researcher Pro) confirmed exactly what JSON-LD Rank Math was emitting on the homepage: 1× AudioObject, 5× VideoObject, 1× Person and 1× Blog. This is the schema the WBP importer had to preserve byte-for-byte.

Step 1 — The 'we noticed Rank Math' popup
The moment WBP Omni SEO Pro is activated on a site with a competing SEO plugin it doesn't take over. It surfaces a branded detection popup: "We noticed you're using Rank Math. Would you like to migrate?" The same flow triggers for Yoast, All in One SEO, SEOPress and The SEO Framework — the plugin scans active_plugins on load and matches against a known-basename registry. Consent before cutover.

Step 2 — Click 'Migrate' → analysis preview
Clicking Migrate opens the Migration Hub. A branded scan runs against the WordPress database with an animated progress bar in the WBP blue (#3858E9). On this site it read every rank_math_* postmeta row plus term meta and user meta in under 30 seconds and returned a plain-English inventory.
- 38,729 posts with Rank Math metadata detected
- 38,728 with a non-empty SEO title or description
- 471 taxonomy terms with Rank Math term meta
- 420 users with Rank Math author schema data
- 1× AudioObject, 5× VideoObject, 1× Person and 1× Blog on the homepage alone
- Redirects, sitemap URLs and 404 monitor entries also enumerated
Step 3 — One-click import
Clicking Import walks each rank_math_* meta key and writes a mapped wbp_* equivalent — titles, descriptions, canonicals, robots directives, Open Graph and Twitter cards, focus keywords, and every schema JSON blob. Self-referential canonicals are preserved as empty strings. Schema @id collisions are de-duplicated on the way in. A full JSON backup lands in wp-content/uploads before the first write, so the whole import is one-click reversible.
Step 4 — Before / after diff
After the import, the Migration Hub shows a per-URL diff. The original Rank Math title, description, canonical, robots, OG and JSON-LD render side-by-side with the new WBP Omni SEO Pro output. On usmanjatoi.com the two columns were byte-identical for meta, and schema matched under two independent validators.

Step 5 — Deactivate Rank Math
The final Migration Hub screen offers two paths. 'Deactivate Rank Math' calls WordPress' own deactivate_plugins() against seo-by-rank-math/rank-math.php and seo-by-rank-math-pro/rank-math-pro.php in one atomic step. 'Next' keeps both plugins installed but hands frontend SEO ownership to Omni via the takeover filter. On usmanjatoi.com we deactivated.

Cutover verification
The verification step is deliberately boring. It checks three things: the homepage returns HTTP 200, no Rank Math basename appears in get_option('active_plugins'), and view-source on any post shows the wbp_title / wbp_description / wbp_schema_* markup with nothing from Rank Math. All three passed on the first attempt.
"We had literally thousands of meta titles, meta descriptions and schemas on this site and I was genuinely worried about the migration — that was the hectic part. The plugin actually helped us out. Everything was super smooth. And I'm not saying this as the founder, I'm saying this as the customer who was living with the pain."
Frequently asked
No. Every schema JSON block is copied one-to-one into WBP Omni SEO Pro's schema store. On usmanjatoi.com the pre- and post-migration schema output was byte-identical under an external validator.
